Group members: Walter Chavez (Honduras), Ibitoye Rachel Oluwayemi (Nigeria), James Sabwengi (Kenya). The overall mission of this project is to create a strategy for a proper waste management system, that includes training courses at schools aiming to create awareness in how to recognize, separate, collect and disposed waste from households as a mean to create a sustainable society. And to present a technical proposal that will include the way of how plastic, paper and organic waste can be treated with a specific cleantech strategy for each type of material. Our approach will be conducted with the partnership of the private sector and through a volunteer network and media strategy. Training will take place in all primary school of the Nis region, trough volunteers and ToT. The media strategy will be conducted in the most influential TV and Radio stations within the region.
