Conectarme con Esayas Mulatu
Group members: Zarina Ismailova (Tajikistan), Joseph Emmanuel Yaba (Nigeria), Zemma Kane Ardaniel (Philippines). Ethiopia holds large potential for dairy development as it has the largest livestock herd of Africa with diverse topographic and favorable climatic conditions. However the dairy sector does not seem to be as developed as it could be. The sector is characterized by an insufficient and a highly fluctuating supply a highly variable demand structure along with low and limited milk and milk products consumption habits. The overall objective of this project is to improve the livelihoods of targeted communities through improved milk production and a marketing system.
